The project
We prepared a design-build proposal for a flag monument at a place of worship in Brampton, planned as a permanent landmark of faith and remembrance for the community.
The monument has a round base and steps built in structural concrete block on a reinforced 6 inch concrete base. Two finish options were presented to the sponsor, stucco with paint in black or gray, or natural stone, both with granite tops on the seating area, wall border and upper edge. Accessories include a stainless steel candle tray for two to three candles and four to five solar powered lights for evening illumination.
Professional design drawings were prepared by Kolour Design Partners Inc. The project is pending funding.
